On April 3rd, 2025, Edizioni Edilingua, in collaboration with the Consulate General, School Office and Italian Cultural Institute, sponsored a Professional Training Seminar for Teachers of Italian Programs in K-12th Schools and Universities, in the Chicago District, as a part of the U.S. Tour 2025.
During the Seminar, Edilingua Director Prof. Telis Marin, a lecturer and trainer and author of books on teaching Italian L2 and LS, engaged participants in a stimulating reflection on the potential related to motivation and emotional involvement of students, on the link between personalization and the support of new technologies in teaching, both of which are fundamental elements in fostering a learning context multimodal. The training initiative provided an opportunity to train both on technical skills for the use of the technology, as well as on the methodological skills needed in the educational and sociocultural context.
