The Italian Trade Agency of Chicago is seeking to fill a temporary Assistant Marketing Specialist position<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Job description<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Assist with planning, budgeting and implementation of trade shows and delegations which may include travel on occasion<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Assist with development of advertising campaigns<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Carry out market research, competitor and client surveys on behalf of Italian companies<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant information<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Assist in contacting external counterparts including service providers and responding to their inquiries<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Provide administrative assistance to Senior Marketing Specialist in daily activities.<\/p>\n

Qualifications and experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Bachelor\u2019s degree and a minimum of two years experience in marketing and business development<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Orientation to detail and client service, resourcefulness and enthusiastic<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Excellent organizational and communication (written and oral) skills<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Skillful use of applications: MS office, particularly Word and Excel, internet, email and database software<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Knowledge of and experience in utilizing Social Media applications<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Professional appearance and demeanor<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Intermediate and\/or advanced knowledge of Italian preferred.<\/p>\n

Salary and Compensation<\/strong><\/p>\n

Compensation will be based on applicant experience and will range from $2,500.00 to $3,200.00. Full time.<\/p>\n

Employment Status<\/strong><\/p>\n

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US, i.e. be a US citizen or have a green card. The Italian Trade Agency will not sponsor any employees.<\/p>\n
