For residents of all the other States, please\u00a0click:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/conschicago.esteri.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Consular-jurisdiction.pdf\">jurisdiction<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0Consular administration has full authority to evaluate and request\u00a0other documents\u00a0\u00a0in addition to those submitted by the applicant. The latter is hereby informed that submitting the documents specified\u00a0under study visa\u00a0does not guarantee issuance of the visa. Incomplete applicatons will not be accepted. <strong>Rush processing is not possible. Please start the process well in advance especially in the month\u00a0of June, July and August for fall semesters, and October, November and December for spring semesters<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>US citizens<\/strong> must apply for study visas only for study periods <strong>longer than 90 days (National Visa).<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Important notice <\/strong>:\u00a0Within 8 days of entering Italy with the visa, you must request a\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.poliziadistato.it\/articolo\/10617\/\"><strong>Permesso di Soggiorno (Permit of Stay)<\/strong><\/a> to the Questura in the city where your school is located.\u00a0When requesting the Permesso di soggiorno\u00a0you may be asked to\u00a0submit\u00a0copies of the\u00a0entire documentation submitted for the visa<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Students studying full-time at a University located in the jurisdiction of this Consulate meet the residence requirement, when they request study visas for a &#8220;study abroad program&#8221; sponsored by their Universities.
