In collaboration with the Honorary Vice Consul, a “Passport Day” is scheduled for September 30th 2026 at the Honorary Vice Consulate’s office in Denver for the acquisition of biometric data for the purpose of issuing an Italian passport, without the need to go to the Consulate General’s office in Chicago.
Italian citizens regularly registered with AIRE in the consular district will be able to access the service upon reservation.
Details regarding the booking mode will be published on this website on September 18th, in the morning. Application for the Passport Day received before this date will not be considered.
Appointment availability is limited and appointment requests will be considered by order of arrival and confirmed only after verification by the Consulate General. We therefore strongly invite you to promptly send your request as soon as the procedures are made public on September 18th 2026.
The ‘Passport Day’ in Denver will be repeated periodically and therefore citizens are invited to make appointments for the September event only in case of passport already expired or expiring within 6 months, as well as regular AIRE registration.
