Consul General Giuseppe Finocchiaro has been awarded the Medal of Merit by the Sicilian American Cultural Association (SACA).

Through the years, SACA has become an important player on the Chicago’s cultural scene and has significantly contributed to enhance the image of Italy, thus bringing benefit also to the Italian and Italian American Community in Chicago. In particular, SACA has devoted its activities to the promotion of the unique art, history and traditions of Sicily.
