On the occasion of the Italian National Day, I am very pleased to share with you a message from H. E. Ambassador Armando Varricchio. On Republic Day, the Ambassador avails the opportunity to send a congratulatory message and, this year, he takes this opportunity to bid farewell to the community as he will soon undertake a new prestigious assignment in Europe, in a Country
whose relationship with Italy is fostered by a long history.

I regret not being able to celebrate and share together with you my first Italian National Day as Consul General in Chicago, nonetheless I am sure that we will soon be able to enjoy other and numerous joyful moments.
